There is no avoiding the affects that the Covid-19 pandemic is having on ways of working, this has led to new working styles which are forming the future of businesses. Most organisations are having no choice but to rethink the way that they operate, and it is giving most the time to take a step back, reflect and reset as they prepare for the future of the working environment.

Change now has to be at the core of everything businesses do. Firstly, itโ€™s shown us just how easy itโ€™s been to adapt to remote and flexible working, something that may have been a sticking point for some organisations previously. The rise in agile working means that a new kind of trust, in both people and technology, means businesses could come out of this saving huge amounts of money on office space with their workforces being able to work from home effectively. This also puts a new kind of trust in your employees, a trust to work from home and get the job done, without being monitored.

As well as this, the future of working styles looks to be one of continual change. We are seeing businesses change at speeds like never before and leaders have to be brave in taking their organisation and workforce on this journey. Although we would never want this unprecedented time to happen again, it has given us food for thought on the capabilities and future of working styles and how they might continue to change.
