Senior SAP S/4HANA Consultants for a Public Sector industry

The Brief: Multiple niche roles from multiple countries 

After unsuccessful attempts at sourcing the senior S4/HANA talent they needed themselves, the client trusted us with sourcing the following positions across seven vacancies: Senior SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), SAP Financial Consultants and SAP for supply chain.


The Challenge: Pairing expertise with the relevant experience 

The client needed to reconstruct their SAP environment, and to achieve this they needed to upgrade their ERP from ECC 6 to SAP S/4HANA. 

A technical challenge, to ensure the smooth transition they needed to find SAP expert consultants with the SAP S/4HANA expertise. This was a Greenfield implementation project was a major undertaking, and as such the candidates needed to have relevant experience in the public sector to make sure that the project was completed on time and to a high standard.


Our Approach: Agile and Responsive 

We took the time to hear our client’s requirements and to understand where they had made efforts before. We held several meetings and briefings over video calls to comply with the current pandemic situation and to maintain a personable approach between internal and external teams. Ntrinsic side, we worked collaboratively to explore our current roster of talent and to share each consultant’s network of viable candidates. We made sure to follow-up weekly with the clients, consultants, candidates and wider team.


The Solution

Utilising our vast network and record of talent, we were able to speak to previous contractors that we knew and trust and had placed in the past. Some of these SAP consultants were available and had the right skills – as we had worked with them before, we’ve had good feedback from previous projects, which we provided them to the client, they were of course happy to work with Ntrinsic again and embark into this interesting project upgrade. This highlights how important it is to maintain relationships – this is something we are passionate about at Ntrinsic as it allows us to deliver for our clients whilst also having an edge over other local and international recruitment agencies. 

All interviews were conducted through video calls and we were able to showcase the candidates’ talent, as well as vouch for their expertise which pleased the client to know we had worked with them before.


The Result

Our approach saved the client many hours of looking for their niche roles and allowed them to spend time in other areas of their business. We were able to fill all of the senior positions with consultants from Belgium, United Kingdom and France. Due to our thorough and reliable approach, we were able to demonstrate that we understood the client’s need and had access to a pool of talent across multiple countries. We are now the preferred supplier for the client, working closely with the senior managers to anticipate and manage any tech recruitment need they may have; we are still assisting them with their urgent needs.
