The Brief: Finding an Oracle EPM Consultant

Due to time restraints and the demands of the business, the client turned to us to help fill a vital Oracle EPM Consultant position. They were already at the implementation stage and so needed an expert in this technical field urgently.

The Challenge: Sourcing the best from a minimal market

Oracle EPM Consultants are not common due to their particular area of technical expertise, so the client fulfilling the role themselves was not an option. As this was a niche profile, they trusted that Ntrinsic’s network would fill the role accurately and reliably, as our reputation for Oracle placements is renowned, and they knew of us from other consultants already. Our challenge was to find the right person with the right skills in the right location. The client has a distribution network based in France, and as there are few candidates in the market in Europe, this made it more complex but not impossible. We needed to find someone in that region.

Our recruitment consultant liaised with colleagues who had a candidate in mind due to a previous placement more than six years ago. The candidate was still with the same company and in the same position based in France. Upon contact, they made it clear that they were open to a new opportunity. This candidate’s CV was put forward: it was clear our relationship was solid, that their skills were unrivalled and that they were committed to a company once hired.
