About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead a small testing team and drive quality assurance efforts for Salesforce-based solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in automated testing, particularly within Salesforce Service Cloud or Commerce Cloud, and a strong background in modern test automation tools and frameworks.
As the Senior QA, you will not only be responsible for test strategy and execution but also for overseeing the performance of two testers within the team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the QA efforts and oversee the performance of two testers
- Design and implement automated testing solutions for Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud or Commerce Cloud)
- Develop test strategies, plans, and scripts using BDD with Cucumber for Selenium
- Write and maintain automation tests using JavaScript or TypeScript
- Utilise tools like Playwright for end-to-end testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile team
- Ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement in testing processes
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Proven experience in automated testing for Salesforce (Service Cloud or Commerce Cloud – mandatory)
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber for Selenium
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Previous experience in a leadership or senior QA role, managing or mentoring other testers
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English
