Enterprise Infrastructure Delivery Lead

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Infrastructure Delivery Lead to oversee full lifecycle delivery of infrastructure programmes — from initial requirements gathering through to design, procurement, build, and operational handover.

This is a hands-on, leadership role requiring strong coordination skills across internal teams and external service providers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing complex data centre infrastructure projects and the technical knowledge to oversee physical deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end infrastructure delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.

  • Own the planning and execution of data centre activities, including physical installations, racking, stacking, replacements, and maintenance.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to design and build hypervisors, clusters, and virtual infrastructure components.

  • Manage capacity planning, infrastructure design, and operational readiness activities.

  • Engage with 3rd party Managed Service Providers and internal functions to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Attend data centres as required to oversee critical hardware changes and ensure compliance with build standards.

  • Lead project governance, reporting, and risk management throughout the delivery cycle.

  • Work out-of-hours where needed to support high-impact changes with minimal user disruption.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects within enterprise data centre environments.

  • Strong understanding of physical infrastructure build, including hardware installation, configuration, and standards.

  • Experience with hypervisor and cluster design, capacity planning, and operationalisation.

  • Skilled in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and project governance.

  • Comfortable working under pressure and leading changes during off-hours.
