Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Security Infrastructure Implementation Manager to join a high-stakes programme delivering secure infrastructure change into production environments. This role is hands-on and operationally critical, requiring someone who can lead implementation events under pressure, ensure compliance with security standards, and manage cross-functional teams through complex change windows.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute secure infrastructure implementations and technical changes into production environments.
Own the creation, review, and execution of Implementation and Change Artefacts (runbooks, implementation plans, rollback plans).
Lead Command and Control operations during live implementation windows — managing resources, timelines, and incident response in real time.
Drive Change Management processes — from CAB approvals through to successful release, working closely with programme and operational stakeholders.
Act as escalation point for any technical issues arising during implementation — with a focus on rapid triage, root cause identification, and resolution.
Ensure security considerations and standards are embedded into all changes, with appropriate validation and documentation.
Work collaboratively with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless, compliant, and safe production go-lives.
Provide out-of-hours coverage for implementation events and participate in a formal on-call rota.
Attend and lead on-site implementation events where physical presence is required for major changes.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure implementations in secure environments.
Strong understanding of information security principles and secure change governance.
Hands-on experience with incident response and technical issue resolution in live environments.
Comfortable operating in high-pressure go-live situations and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of change and release management processes in enterprise IT environments.
Experience leading infrastructure changes across a variety of platforms (e.g., Windows, Linux, networking, security appliances).
Excellent communication and coordination skills
