Overview
We are looking for a skilled Azure/DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure administration and Ping Identity suite of products. This long-term opportunity is based in Amsterdam with a hybrid work model. Ideal candidates should bring a deep understanding of application lifecycle management, Azure infrastructure, and a passion for automation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML).

Install, configure, and maintain Ping Identity products (Ping Directory, Ping DataSync, Ping Proxy).

Collaborate with business and architecture teams to create scalable and secure application and network solutions.

Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and policy storage systems.

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Contribute to ongoing automation efforts with an “automate everything” mindset.

Required Experience & Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Ping Identity suite, especially Ping Directory and data replication.

Proficiency in Azure IaaS & PaaS services: Virtual Networks, App Services, Key Vault, Azure Functions, etc.

Knowledge of LDAP-based directories and COTS application management.

Demonstrated experience with CI/CD automation, especially in Azure DevOps.

Background in solution design involving cloud and network architecture.

Nice to Have
Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

SQL Server setup and advanced authentication/authorization techniques.

Familiarity with monitoring tools: AppDynamics, Splunk, Application Insights, Log Analytics.

Basic scripting and testing experience using JMeter and Postman.

Understanding of API management, certificate lifecycle, and secure communication.

Experience implementing active-active and disaster recovery architectures.

Methodology & Soft Skills
Strong experience working in Agile environments.

Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
