Azure/DevOps Engineer – Ping Directory Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure/DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Ping Identity products, particularly Ping Directory, to support a secure, scalable identity infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a background in Azure infrastructure, DevOps automation, and identity and access management (IAM).

Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage Ping Directory instances, including data replication and integration with Ping Data Sync and Ping Proxy

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Bicep

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML)

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions

Configure and support core Azure services including VNets, App Services, Key Vaults, Recovery Services, and Azure Functions

Participate in application and network solution design and policy implementation

Required Experience & Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with the Ping Identity suite (Ping Directory is essential)

Solid understanding of LDAP-based directory systems

Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining COTS applications

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Bicep

Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD automation

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices

Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills

Nice to Have:
Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Knowledge of SQL Server, authentication/authorization models

Experience with monitoring tools: AppDynamics, Splunk, Log Analytics, Application Insights

Familiarity with JMeter, Postman, and API/certificate management

Exposure to disaster recovery planning and active-active deployments
