Job Title: Merchant Acquiring Financial Management SME

Location: London (2 days on-site)

Contract Duration: 6 months with extension

Client: Banking Client


Role Overview:

We are seeking a Merchant Acquiring Financial Management SME to support a key project later this year. The individual will be responsible for migrating Take Payments’ merchant financial management systems to a new solution. This is a high-visibility role, requiring deep expertise in merchant acquiring, financial systems, and stakeholder management.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of the vision, scope, and business requirements for the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • Conduct discovery of potential solutions, examining both existing solutions within NatWest and market alternatives.
  • Develop a high-level plan and cost estimate, including migration strategies for existing solutions/data.
  • Support the mobilisation of the programme, ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication throughout the project.


Requirements:

  • Extensive merchant acquiring domain knowledge.
  • Subject-matter expert in acquiring merchant financial management solutions, including ledger, subledger, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Proven experience delivering similar solutions for other acquirers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate and work effectively in a complex stakeholder landscape.
  • Available to start within the next 2 to 4 weeks.
